Introduction
Welcome to Talamo, an automated dyslexia assessment tool. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Talamo’s services, including our desktop web app and related offerings (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
Acceptable Use
Intended Purpose: The Service is intended to serve as a risk assessment tool for identifying indicators related to dyslexia. It is not a diagnostic tool.
Unacceptable Use: Cheating to manipulate the assessment results, hacking, data scraping, or any form of intellectual property theft is strictly prohibited.
Registration and Accounts
Users are responsible for safeguarding their account information. Talamo is not liable for unauthorised access to accounts.
Liability Limitation
Talamo is provided "as is" and serves as a risk assessment tool. Talamo is not responsible for incorrect or inconclusive assessments. Users are advised to seek professional advice for diagnosis and intervention.
Intellectual Property
Ownership: Talamo and its licensors own all intellectual property related to the Service.
Restrictions: Users may not copy, distribute, or otherwise use the materials from the Service for any purpose other than personal use.
Payment and Refunds
If the Service provides incorrect or inconclusive results, a refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Talamo.
Termination Policy
Accounts and related data will be retained for 6 months after the last interaction and will then be deleted, unless a deletion request is made by the user.
Dispute Resolution
All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through arbitration in the United Kingdom.
Modifications to Terms and Conditions
Talamo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be notified via email and a banner notification on the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
