Talamo now includes three screeners, all run from the same place:

Maths & Dyscalculia: core maths skills, with a signs of dyscalculia indicator
Executive Function: attention, planning, self-control and working memory

Check your credits
Credits are what you use to test students. You can see your balance on your Homepage, at the top of the Students page, or in Settings.
If it doesn't look right, get in touch and we'll sort it. Need more? See How to add credits.
Add your students
Go to Students and click Add students. You can add a whole cohort in one go using our Excel template. Full walkthrough: How to add students.
Assign a test
From the Students page, assign a test to one student using the ⋯ menu on their row, or to lots at once using the tick boxes. You'll choose which of the three tests to assign. Full detail: How to assign a test.
Tip: you can assign more than one test. Students complete them in a set order: Cognitive & Dyslexia, then Maths & Dyscalculia, then Executive Function.
Give students access
Every student gets their own 8-character Login ID. They go to test.talamo.co.uk, type it in, and they're away. You can print login slips one at a time or in bulk. See How to give students access.
View results and reports
Results appear in Results within 48 hours of a student finishing. Click a student's name to open their full report, and download it as a PDF if you'd like a copy for your records.
One thing to know: results more than 12 months old are marked out of date. Students change a lot in a year, so a fresh screening gives a truer picture.
Create an Insight report
Once a group of students has results, you can zoom out. Select 5 or more students and create an Insight report: a whole-group analysis with strategies to match, in a Teacher or SENCO version. Start with What are Insight reports?.
